Hello, and thank you for visiting Compassionate Farewell. My name is Courtney Sparks, and I am the founder and director of this heartfelt mission-driven business. I created Compassionate Farewell Bereavement Advocacy Support Services after walking my own path through deep personal loss, the passing of my beloved mother.
Navigating grief while trying to plan a meaningful funeral and manage the overwhelming logistics left me emotionally exhausted and spiritually depleted. I found myself wishing for someone—anyone—who could walk with me, guide me, and simply help me carry the weight. That wish is now the foundation of this business.

Why I Do This Work
Compassionate Farewell was born from my pain but built on purpose. I wanted to be what I needed most during that difficult time:

With my background in Operations Management, Event Planning, Family Advocacy, and Social Work, I’ve combined professional expertise with heartfelt compassion to offer practical and emotional assistance when families need it most.
